Dear Hurricane Club Members:

We hope you are enjoying a safe and fun summer. As many of you are traveling this summer, we would like to see where you have been.

Over the next month, we encourage you to submit pictures showing your Canes pride across the world by wearing your orange and green. In the August newsletter, we will have a special photo gallery showcasing the U Hurricane Club family across the world.

We look forward to seeing you soon as our fall sports season begins.

Go Canes!

1. How and why did you become involved with the University of Miami?
A number of years ago, Penny and I were impressed with the incredibly talented students at UM's School of Music. We attended several events, got to know Dean Hipp and his faculty members, and progressed from there.

2. What does UM Athletics mean to you?
We just love having kids benefit from our scholarships, and have a number of them at five great universities. It is immensely gratifying to us to give these fine students a boost at this stage of their lives.

3. What is your favorite UM moment?
The end of the UM Holiday Concert is a wonderful moment each year. We always leave the concert with enhanced confidence that the generation following us will have a great and positive impact on the world we live in.

Let the University of Miami take care of the details for you!

You can reserve space just outside of the Orange Bowl in Hospitality Village for your friends, family or business to get together for your own private tailgate without all the planning details.

No need to worry about finding a place around the Orange Bowl for your tailgate, we'll take care of the space, food, beverages, tent and atmosphere so you and your guest can sit back and enjoy what a true tailgate party is all about.

For additional information about Hospitality Village, please contact Brad Matthews at 305-284-4475 or email him at bmatthews@miami.edu. See you there!
