A two-year associate degree can be your ticket to a high-demand career with a good salary. In fact, some of the fastest growing occupations in the country ask for associate degrees.

Aging baby boomers are increasing demand for healthcare services. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, openings for nurses are expected to grow 22% through 2018. The median wage for the most recent year available (2008) was $62,450. |
