DHL - "Delivering Corporate Communications in Small Packages"
Challenge: DHL Corporate Communications needed to communicate the most current and relevant information about the company to its entire U.S. media and industry analysts. Loop was asked to provide the best way to organize and distribute this information.
Analysis: Our research of the U.S. media and industry analysts uncovered that this target audience wanted information to be portable and summarized for quick scanning. Loop determined the fastest way to provide the information in the simplest format available to consume the data.
Solutions: We produced a media communications plan tailored to meet DHL’s goals called “Door to Door”, a multiple online channel program. It was designed to deliver DHL’s corporate communication messages in a quick scanning format with summarized content versions that were also conveniently portable in email, PDF, print, mobile, and text-only versions.
Accountability: The main methods used to measure program success were subscription and reader retention metrics.
Performance: We delivered DHL’s corporate communication messages in a quick scanning format with a summarized content in multiple versions to the U.S. media and industry analysts. This increased subscription levels by 15%, with overall readership reaching 22%. Less than 1% unsubscribed to the new format. Recognition by media and industry analysts of DHL’s new information program resulted in higher awareness of DHL’s message and increased media coverage.
